Along with Kroger-owned Ralphs in Southern California accepting Apple Pay, King Soopers that is based out of Colorado and Wyoming is also said to now be accepting Apple Pay in its stores.
This news comes from MacRumors senior reporter Joe Rossignol on Twitter who sent out the following tweet.

Now King Soopers customers will have the ability to pay for their items in-store with Apple Pay from their iPhone or Apple Watch. It also means Apple Card users that pay from said iPhone or Apple Watch can get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make.
What makes this a big deal is the fact that Kroger and Kroger-owned grocery stores have been known to be holdouts for Apple Pay acceptance. Before the news of Ralphs getting Apple Pay support, the only other Kroger-owned grocery store chain to accept it was Quality Food Centers (QFC), which has stores in Washington and Oregon.
One of the reasons Kroger is now adding Apple Pay support to more of its owned grocery store chains could be because Kroger bought Albertsons last month and Albertsons has been accepting Apple Pay in its stores since 2017.
