Nomad is well known for its premium accessories that are designed for both the iPhone and Apple Watch. Nomad has also been selling its limited-edition Watch bands for a while, and without exception, the company is coming out with a new color this month, but this time, it’s in collaboration with The Verge. Introducing “Blurple.”
As the name implies, this strikingly bold color is a blend of blue and purple. Depending on certain lighting conditions, this Sport Band can look blue or purple. As with other Sport Bands that Nomad offers, this waterproof Sport Band is made out of high-quality FKM and features a pill-shaped aluminum pin for pin-and-tuck enclosure and grooves along the band to provide for better skin breathability. What makes this Sport Band set apart from other Sport Bands is that the back of the pin has the brand “The Verge” engraved.
If you want to order one, don’t wait as limited-edition Sport Bands usually sell out fast with no guarantee of restocking in the foreseeable future. The “Blurple” Sport Band is available to order on Nomad’s website for $49, and it works for only the larger size Apple Watch models (case size of 42 / 44 / 45 / 49mm).
