Even though we all enjoy getting a great, curated gift that was chosen from a loved one for the holidays. That’s not a secret for most people.
However, one gift I will never judge anyone getting me for Christmas is an Apple gift card. The reason for it is those things are so useful, not just for potentially buying Apple products with, but just items in the App Store, Apple Books, and other Apple-based services.
With that said, here are some easy things you can buy with a $25 Apple gift card:
- Apple Music: You can use it towards a subscription to Apple Music and have at least your first month of the year paid off, as well as almost half the second month paid off too.
- Ebooks or audiobooks: These gift cards make for a great way to start your new year off with some new reading and books (whether in ebook or audiobooks form). Plus, with the colder weather coming nationwide with the winter, it’s another excuse to stay indoors and get cozy with a blanket and a book.
- Streaming service subscriptions: You can use an Apple gift card towards the purchase of a monthly subscription to select streaming services. These would currently include MAX, Peacock, Paramount+, AMC+, Britbox, and others.
- Subsidize Apple product or accessory purchases: You could use an Apple gift card to bring down the price of an Apple product or accessory you were planning on buying. For example, you could use it to bring the price of the 64GB Apple TV 4K third generation from $129 down to $104 with a $25 gift card. Another example would be buying the black Apple Magic Mouse that would go from $99 down to $74. It doesn’t sound like much in the moment but every bit of savings helps now.
- Apple Fitness+: Perhaps you want to start off the new year with getting more fit and bettering yourself mentally by doing some yoga or meditation? Apple Fitness+ is a great way to do that and currently costs just $9.99 a month, so there could be two months right there with a $25 Apple gift card.
Obviously there are plenty of choices to choose from, but needless to say, Apple gift cards have a lot of uses and perks to them.
