Earlier this week, Mark Gurman reported that the highly anticipated refresh for the iPhone SE would debut really soon. Tonight, Mark Gurman revealed even more details that Apple will start announcing new products starting tomorrow.Earlier today, Beats, which has been acquired by Apple, announced the second generation of Powerbeats Pro, which introduced a heart-rate sensor within the earbuds – a feature that we may expect for the next-generation AirPods Pro.

In regard to the products that will be announced soon, Gurman declares the following:

The new iPhone SE is still imminent and should be announced by next week when the company is holding product briefings. Tomorrow there’s a smaller announcement. For Friday, Apple Vision Pro reps are reaching out to the press about an announcement to come. M4 MacBook Air within weeks.

This indicates that we may have to wait for the iPhone SE 4 a bit longer than expected. So what products could Apple announce tomorrow? I’m placing my bets on either the iPad (11th generation) or the iPad Air (M3). For the former, the base iPad last saw an update back in October 2022, and since it’s been way overdue for an update, we should see just a spec bump for that tablet. Apple may possibly announce two variations for the upcoming iPad similar to what Apple offers with the AirPods 4. For the iPad 11, Apple could sell a lower-priced variant with the A16 chip and a more premium option with something like the A17 Pro chip to support Apple Intelligence. For the latter, Gurman indicated that stocks were running low for the iPad Air, so we may see a spec bump, particularly the M3 chip, to that tablet as well though it was last updated less than a year ago. Still, the iPad Pro would still gain a huge advantage over the iPad Air with the latest M4 chip.

Since Gurman mentioned the Vision Pro, there is no word on what Apple may bring to the Vision Pro platform; however, there are several possibilities on what Apple may improve for the Vision Pro, maybe finally adding Apple Intelligence support. We’ll just have to wait and see for tomorrow. Until then, follow us on X.
