Of course, the biggest highlight of WWDC 2026 is the upcoming Siri AI, which will be tightly integrated into visionOS 27. Powered by Apple Intelligence, you can ask Siri AI just about anything you could think of and start back-and-forth conversations that will feel more natural, and you can even customize how Siri will sound in terms of pitch, speed, tone, or even accent. Plus, Siri will get smarter by providing relevant results based on your personal context. The upcoming built-in Siri app will also consolidate all of your conversations for you to reference. Of course, similar to macOS 27 Golden Gate, Apple Intelligence will continue to be integrated in even more apps such as dynamic grouping of bookmarks in Safari and the ability to change weak passwords automatically with a tap in the Passwords app.
Spatial experiences
visionOS 27 brings a more immersive experience with several new features. You can convert your panoramas into spatial scenes or even set them up as a custom Environment. Speaking of Environments, visionOS 27 adds a new Environment called “Thórsmörk”, dedicating Icelandic auroras that change color dynamically. Soon, your favorite apps like Safari and Multiview on Apple TV will let you have curved windows that will wrap around you, as if you’re viewing a curved display.
OS improvements
Above the new spatial experiences, visionOS 27 also brings lots of refinements for an even more responsive experience. If you want to preview notifications with more detail, you can expand them just with your eyes, and you can even take further action such as replying to an iMessage. Control Center will be even more organized with dedicated areas for essential features such as playback, core controls, and Environments. Finally, you should see up to three times faster Wi-Fi connections for quicker access to your favorite content.

visionOS 27 brings other under-the-hood improvements, including:
- Updated Dwell Control for improved accessibility
- Reality Composer Pro 3 for creating game assets
- The ability to group and manage Freeform boards
- Faster Messages across multiple Apple devices
- New widgets, include a new extra-small widget size option
- 360-degree backgrounds in Safari
