Apple now offers refurbished models of M4 Mac mini and MacBook Pro

This past October, Apple brought the M4 chip from the iPad Pro to its first set of Macs – iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro. It’s been just a few months, and Apple now sells refurbished models of both the M4-based Mac minis and MacBook Pros in its Certified Refurbished Stores in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. These refurbished models offer up to 15% discount on the MSRP when buying them new at the Apple Online Store. You can get the refurbished M4 14-inch MacBook Pro for as low as $1,359 ($1,599 MSRP – new), and that starts with 16GB of unified memory and 512GB of SSD. You can also get the refurbished M4 Mac mini for as low as $509 ($599 MSRP – new), and that starts with 16GB of unified memory and 256GB of SSD. However, as of the timing of this article’s posting, that base configuration is already sold out. So do expect stock for refurbished models to fluctuate from time to time, so it may be a good idea to check back every so often.

Apple’s refurbished products, which are packaged in simple white boxes, are tested thoroughly to provide the same exceptional quality you’d expect for any Apple product, and they share the same one-year limited warranty and 14-day return policy as Apple’s new products with the option to purchase AppleCare as well. However, although Apple’s refurbished M4 Macs are offered at great prices, you may find very comparable sales through other Apple Authorized Resellers such as Best Buy and Amazon. Plus, they are likely offered in brand-new condition, so it’s also a great idea to look around to see the best deal of any M4 Mac with a specific configuration you have in mind.
