In another exclusive report from Macworld, internal code reveals more details on the upcoming features that may be coming as soon as iOS 26.4. This is the same source that reports the upcoming base iPad with the A19 chip, the Studio Display 2, and the long-rumored “HomePad.”
First of all, the internal code reveals more tidbits on Apple’s refreshed Health app. As Apple continues to provide features to help you improve your health, Apple is looking into launching a new “Health+” subscription, so combined with the existing Fitness+ service, you can be sure that Apple wants you to be in good shape all year, every day.
Second, we’ve had a feature where we can save credit card info to autofill in Safari. Soon, iOS 26.4 will likely allow third-party apps to autofill the same type of info that’s stored and encrypted via iCloud Keychain. This would be essentially useful with shopping apps.
Third, it’s not a secret that Siri is lagging behind, but with ongoing rumors that Siri will finally be improved, the long-awaited Siri can’t come soon enough. Major improvements will include more natural conversations and improved integration with Google Gemini.
Other features we could be seeing in iOS 26.4 are Folders in Freeform, the Sports section on the Apple TV app, which could be similar to how we have the Sports section on Apple News, and extra security layers to keep your device safe.
It’s likely that iOS 26.4 (and other platforms of that version number) will be out sometime around the spring of 2026.
