In January, Apple launched the Apple Creator Studio, a subscription-based access to Pro Apps such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, MainStage, Freeform, along with additional features on the Keynote, Numbers, and Pages apps.
When the subscription launched, Apple still kept all standalone apps available on the Mac App Store for existing users to download, as well as new users who wanted to buy the apps. This meant that there were two versions of each app on the App Store.
Access to Keynote, Numbers, and Pages was free before the subscription launched and will continue to be free, but subscribers will get additional new AI features from updates. Till now, there were two versions of these apps on the Mac App Store: one standalone version and one Creator Studio version. As noted by Aaron Perris on X, the standalone versions of these three apps have been removed from the Mac App Store by Apple.

However, users will still be able to download and use the new Creator Studio version of these apps for free, and only a few additional features will be unlocked with a Creator Studio Subscription.
Apple’s Creator Studio subscription offers a plethora of useful tools and apps for a price of $12.99/mo or $129/yr. Education discount for the monthly plan will land you a price of $2.99/mo or $29.99/yr.
