Appleosophy Streaming Picks (June 21-27)

Happy First Day of Summer and World Music Day! With that said, it is now truly the kickoff of binge-watching season for summer TV and all of the shows from the 2019-2019 fall tv season.


  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: As of this Friday, the show’s 13th season is now available to stream on Hulu, along with the other previous 12 seasons too.

  • Suits: Season eight of the TV series just became available on Prime Video, along with the previous seven seasons. Additionally, users can stream the eighth season of Suits on Sling TV via the USA Network on-demand.


  • The Good Trouble (Season 2, Episode 1): The first episode of season two of Freeform’s The Good Trouble is now available to stream on Hulu.



  • Good Will Hunting: If you want to see a great classic movie with Robin Williams, Matt Damon and hear the great music of Elliott Smith (and who wouldn’t on World Music Day?), you have come to the right movie because this is the one that will do exactly that. Best of all, it is available to stream on Netflix!


  • Murder¬†Mystery: This is said to be one of the newer hit original movies Netflix is offering right now to their customers. It stars both Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.


  • Set It Up: Speaking of movies on Netflix, this was one of the best original movies the company released last year and is worthy again of viewing…since it is the first day of summer, after all.



  • Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees (MLB): The game will be on Saturday, June 21 and begin at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.


  • REV Group Grand Prix at Road America (IndyCar): IndyCar racing is back in action, this week from Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. Josef Newgarden, Alexander Rossi and Simon Pagenaud lead the points race heading into the race. The race will begin on Sunday, June 23, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.


  • Toyota/Save Mart 350 (MENCS/NASCAR): Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers race the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. Martin Truex Jr., one of seven all-time multiple champions at this event, looks to improve his result after finishing third at the FireKeepers 400 on June 10. The race will be on June 23 at 3 p.m. ET on FS1.
