Moment, the company best known for designing photography accessories and lenses for iPhone, has officially announced new cases, mounts, tripods, and accessories, that take full advantage of MagSafe on iPhone 12 models.
On Monday afternoon, the creative folks over at Moment officially launched a slew of new products designed to take full advantage of MagSafe, Apple’s new solution to charging and attaching magnetic accessories to the back of all iPhone 12 models. These products include cases, tripod mounts, cold-shoe mounts, wall mounts, car vent mounts, and so much more.
Cases
Moment is offering two different types of cases for iPhone 12: a thin case, and a thick protective case. All cases feature a soft touch texture. Moment is also offering both types of cases for every iPhone 12 model: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The thin iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max MagSafe cases come in four colors: Black, Indigo Blue, Mustard Yellow, or Olive Green. Moment also sells cases for the iPhone 12 without MagSafe, and those are offered in all the same colors as the MagSafe cases, but also offer a Spicy Red option.
The thick iPhone 12 MagSafe cases are offered in either Black Canvas or Walnut Wood. These are also offered in non-MagSafe variants.
All cases are compatible with Moment’s M-Series lenses and their collection of leather or nylon wrist loops.
The Moment MagSafe cases start at $49.99, while the non-MagSafe cases are $39.99. Nylon Wrist Loops are $19.99, and the Leather Wrist Loops are $29.99. You can pre-order the cases now, and they’ll ship March 2021.
MagSafe® Mounts and Adapters
In addition to the MagSafe cases, Moment released a collection of mounts that include a wall mount, car vent mount, 1/4″-20 thread mount, Tripod mount, and a Pro Tripod mount.
The Moment MagSafe Wall Mount features 3M adhesive on the rear that allows the mount to be adhered to drywall, wall studs, or other flat surfaces. The mount also features an optional countersunk through-hole to screw it into drywall or studs.
The MagSafe Car Vent accessory is mounted securely to your iPhone thanks to magnets, and features a rubberized press-fit attachment that mounts to your vehicles air conditioning vent. You can use this accessory with or without a case.
The MagSafe Cold Shoe attachment allows customers to mount either a small LED light or microphone directly on top of their iPhone. Moment says the attachment also supports any standard cold shoe accessories.
Moment offers three variants of their MagSafe Tripod attachment, a standard Tripod mount, a Pro Tripod mount, and a Portrait/Landscape Pro Tripod mount. The standard tripod mount can be used either in Portrait or Landscape mode, and can screw to any 1/4”-20 tripods or handles.
The Pro Tripod model features a Cold Shoe attachment on top, and can only be used in Landscape mode.
The Portrait/Landscape Pro Tripod model is identical to the Pro Tripod, but, as the name suggests, can be used in either Portrait or Landscape modes.
All MagSafe attachments are made from aluminum. The Wall Mount mount is $19.99, the Car Vent mount is $29.99, the Cold Shoe Mount is $29.99, the standard Tripod mount is $39.99, the Pro Tripod mount is $49.99, the Portrait/Landscape Pro Tripod is $49.99, and the multi-threaded 1/4″-20 adapter is $29.99. Similar to the cases, these accessories can be ordered now, and ship March 2021.
